About Erin

Hi!  I'm Erin Turowski, and I'm running for Salem's Ward 1 city council seat. Over the past few years, I've spent significant time with Salem's Transportation Commission (formerly the Traffic and Parking Commission), our Safe Streets for All grant task force, and the Safe Walking Advocacy Group (SWAG) working to make our streets safer for vehicle drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike, and I look forward to putting this knowledge and more to work as your ward councillor. I'm a veterinarian, a community leader, an advocate of easier transportation, and, most importantly, a compassionate human who wants to help Salem be a safer, more affordable, and more sustainable city.
